Following is a brief outline for our travels over the 3 days. If you have any questions, please contact Mel & Gill Peters.
Friday 20th Feb
We will meet at the Peg Belfast before 10.15am to drive together to the Mainline Station Cafe where we will Lunch at 11.30am. The tour will begin after lunch departing at 1pm for Blenheim.
HQ for the night is Top10 Blenheim and an Evening Bar Meal at the Grove Tavern.
Saturday 21st Feb
Travel to Greymouth via the Wairau Valley – Murchison – Inangahua Junction – Westport and the Coastal Road through Punakaiki to Greymouth. HQ for the night is Top 10 Greymouth or Greymouth Motels. Evening Meal & Drinks at the Australasian Bar & Grill.
Sunday 22nd Feb
Visit Hokitika – Lake Kaniere – Hokitika Gorge & Lunch at Kumara, then finishing with coffee & cake at Springfield.
All participants are asked to contact Gill or Mel Peters with numbers (to allow for catering) for:
- Lunch on Friday
- Evening Meal Saturday
Please note:
All accommodation is to be organised and paid for by you directly. You are welcome to stay wherever you want but we have indicated where we'll be based each evening so you can meet up with everyone.
As this is a more casual weekend away, you're most welcome to join us at the last moment if you suddenly become free but we do need to know numbers for the two above meals as soon as possible.
