The Classic Motoring Society of New Zealand Inc (CMSNZ) was initially set up by a group of motoring enthusiasts over 15 years ago with the aim of getting people out and about in their classic vehicles. We have a couple of longer tours that are run every two years alternately, which are the Classic Marathon (approximately 5 days) and the Alpine Classic (3 days over a weekend). See the Events diary for more information on these tours.
There are other shorter events such as half day and full day runs, that occur at irregular intervals. We have a monthly Sunday run on (generally) the first Sunday of the month and we also offer a monthly run on Thursdays (called the Gold Card Cruises). Both these regular runs are open to anyone. These are always outlined in our newsletters that are usually publish monthly or check our the Events diary.
The annual club membership covers both individuals and families. You can join for as many years as you want, with a maximum of four years in advance. Membership payments can be made via internet banking or cheque. At this stage we do not accept credit card payments for membership applications.
