Crocodile Dundee Odyssey

Planning is underway for our next Odyssey and we now need to know definite numbers for
booking accommodation.
This is our last call.
Could you please get in touch with David and Susanna at dharman@xtra.co.nz to confirm
that you wish to come on this Odyssey and please reconfirm your decision if you have already
indicated you would like to come. We need to cap numbers but still have room for one or two
more.
We are now asking for a deposit of $1000.00 for this trip to be deposited in the Classic
Motoring Society of NZ bank account by Saturday 31 October 2026. We estimate the cost will
be about $6000.00 per couple which includes accommodation, 3 dinners and 1 or 2 tours.

A brief outline of the tour is given below (still being finalized)
Day 1( 5 June) - Pick up rental cars and explore Darwin. (Welcome dinner)
Day 2 – Travel to Jabiru and learn about Crocodile Dundee.
Day 3 – Exploring Jabiru
Day 4 – Travel to Katherine
Day 5 – Day trip down to the Bitter Springs at Mataranka and the Never, Never.
Day 6 – Tour – Katherine Gorge
Day 7 - Travel to Timber Creek Travellers Rest
Day 8 – Travel to Kununurra (dinner)
Day 9 – options to go to Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge and the Bungle-Bungles on Day 9 and
10??
Day 10 –
Day 11 – Travel to Timber Creek Travellers Rest
Day 12 – Travel to Katherine
Day 13 (18 June) – Travel back to Darwin, drop off rental cars and final dinner.
Day 14 – Some leaving on the Ghan (Darwin to Adelaide)
