First information about the Tassie Tour 2009
Once again, this event is being organised by The Macedon Ranges & District Motor Club (MRADMC). Some of you may remember Robin Fletcher who attended a number of Classic Marathons. Robin is the driving (ha, ha) force behind our participation in this event.
The Tassie Tour is very similar to the Victorian Odyssey that Robin and a team from the Classic Motoring Society of NZ organised. Participants on the Victorian Odyssey hired a range of sports cars and then enjoyed travelling around Victoria in a modern sports car, without the worry of maintaining their own classics.
The suggestion is that participants do this again although you can, of course, take your own classic across from New Zealand. Various hire companies have been contacted already to check rates and availabilites.
A non-refundable deposit of AUD$100 is required to secure a place on the Tassie Tour.
