Where in the world is the event going?
Nowdays, the event should really be called the 'Beijing to Paris' but as we're celebrating the 100th anniversary of the original trip, we're sticking with 'Peking to Paris'.
This map was taken from the book "Adventurers Road", published in 1957 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event. We have indicated our route in green. Please click on the image to see a larger view.
As all the participants are based in New Zealand, we have to travel a good third of the way around the world to get to the start and then half way back to get home!
