Classic Car Show display in 2006

The Peking to Paris group were asked to put on an 'interest' display of their trip at the Classic Car Show held in Pioneer Stadium, August 2006

The group lept at the opportunity to talk to people about what they were doing and led by Geoff, set up a scenario that they never expect to experience!

Under the bonnet of the Saab 2 stroke

For example, we really don't expect to have camels partaking in discussions about Saabs but you never know.  L to R: Kevin Lamb, (camel), Ian Langham, Geoff Ridley and Graeme Matheson.

2 x 2 strokes on display

At the stage that the display was, well, displayed the yellow two stroke Saab on the left was going to participate.  This has been replaced by a Saab V4 stationwagon but the red two stroke on the right is still going.

Combi Wagon on display

This is the vehicle that wins the award for the most participants in one vehicle - two couples travelling together!
