Dawnbreaker
Annual pilgrimage to see the sun rise on the shortest (or close to) day of the year.
This is your chance to test how your classic car copes with a cold, usually frosty, sometimes snowy, winter's morning.
We're starting at 5am in the middle of Beresford Street, New Brighton at the the sea end (you'll find Scott there patiently waiting for you). Entry fee = cans of food to be donated to the City Mission, so be generous.
Once again we're finishing up at a breakfast venue where a tasty, artery-hardening feed can be had for $17 per person.
Remember, bring your winter woollies, thermos if you need a reviver on the way, torch to find your way and your camera so you can prove you made it along!!
