Welcome to the Classic Motoring Society of New Zealand Incorporated
The Classic Motoring Society (or CMSNZ for short) was formed to promote classic car driving and fellowship amongst classic car enthusiasts.
Notice of AGM 2012: 7pm on Tuesday, 19th June at Riccarton Library, Christchurch
We believe that:
- Classic motoring should be fun for all those taking part.
- That the classic motorist is as important as the classic vehicle, that is, it is not just about vehicles, it is also about people.
- The Classic Motoring Society and classic motoring events are to be operated with a minimum of administration and minimum of formality. We aim to maximise the fun quotient.
- The definition of "classic vehicle" will be determined by the owner of the vehicle. If the owner considers his/her vehicle to be a classic, this decision will be accepted and respected by all other club members.
These cars were on the Peking to Paris Raid we ran in 2007 (see photos here).
We're currently offering a tour much closer to home - the South Australian Odyssey in September.
